Battered Women

"Statistics show that in the United States a women
is battered every 9 seconds, on the average."

The TRI Battered Woman's Project is a research-action outreach of the Jeanne d'Arc Preceptory of St. Louis, MO in conjunction with the Ethical Action Committee (EAC) of the Ethical Society of St. Louis, whose motto is "Deed before Creed!" At the moment, the emphasis is on the physical needs of Battered Women and their children, an activity which extends nationally, beyond the St. Louis region. Eventually the focus of this project will be enlarged in order to address the more fundamental psychological and spiritual needs of those who have suffered, and continue to suffer the ill effects of Domestic Violence.

Anyone interested in participating in this project is invited to contact the Jeanne d'Arc Preceptory at the following e-mail address: Battered@Templar-Research-Inst.Org
