A One-Day Introductory Program INTRODUCTION: Spiritual Chivalry may best be defined as a personal code of behavior which springs naturally from one's Spiritual Idealism. To this end, the purpose of this series of Workshops is to encourage each participant to turn his or her awareness inward in order to identify and then outwardly express their own Spiritual Idealism. SESSION # 1 TITLE: Tolerance: The Ultimate Sign of Strength Description: This Session begins with a Questionnaire on Tolerance. The assessment is purely personal and confidential in that each participant accesses himself or herself with no obligation to share the results of his or her assessment with others. An in-depth discussion of the true significance of tolerance will follow. Objective: The objective of this Session is to assist each participant in realizing that from a spiritual standpoint, tolerance is neither a mere "putting up with", nor a mere "enduring" but, instead springs from a deep inner understanding of the cause of human suffering. SESSION #2 TITLE:The Art of Forgiveness Description: As a natural complement to Session #1, this Session focuses on what it means to forgive, who should be forgiven and how to use life's traumas as a source of personal growth. Objective: The objective is to assist each participant in his or her efforts to unburden himself or herself of any lingering feelings of pain, shame, anger or guilt associated with previous life experiences. SESSION #3 TITLE: A Personal Chivalric Code of Honor Description: As in Session #1, this is a hands on session during which each participant is encouraged to express his or her own Spiritual Idealism in the form of a personal Code of Honor through the appropriate combination of words corresponding to the letters in the word CHIVALRY. The Code of Honor featured on the front of the accompanying Brochure will serve as an example. Objective: The objective of this Session is to assist each participant in coming to a conscious realization of his or her personal ideal and using this conscious realization as a spiritual compass in all facets in his or her life. SESSION #4 TITLE: Creating Your Coat of Arms - Your Blazon Description: This Session is devoted to the creation of your own personal Coat of Arms - your Blazon - as a graphic representation and conscious reminder of your Spiritual Idealism. Objective: The objective of this session is to encourage each participant to use the field in which his or her personal Code of Honor is to be graphically represented as a symbol of his or her own heart. Thus, in converting the words of his or her own Code of Honor into graphic form, he or she will symbolically be engraving a new pattern of behavior in his or her own heart, thereby initiating the process of personal transformation.
